I have a FHA mortgage on which I am delinquent for the past 2 months. In such a situation, will I be able to qualify for a FHA streamline refinance?
Yes, you can get a streamline refinance loan that has been insured by FHA. But for that you need a good credit score. What is your present score?
Hi Guest,
You have mentioned that you are delinquent on your present mortgage payments. In such a situation, I don't think you will qualify for a FHA streamline refinance.
Thanks,
Jerry

Bottom line is that if you have gone past 60 days due from the first payment date, you won't get it done. When you say delinquent for the past two months, it could mean a couple things, but if you know that 60 day period is up and you are still delinquent, it will not happen. Contrarily, if your 30 days have gone by and you still owe for it and it has not gone past 30 days,, then you can, if you still have a credit score, meaning something still in the 640 and up range and you get current on your current mortgage.Only then will there be a lender that will take it.
