I need to know if there is a time limit for the mortgage companies to complete the refinancing process? My mortgage refinancing process started in March 2013. Now it is already September and they haven't closed yet. They have told me that there is still no processor for my loan! I cannot hold my patience anymore. What should I do?
Hi Gerry,
There is no time limit for the lenders to complete the loan process. But in your case, too much time has been taken. It will be better if you could now look out for other lenders to get a refinance.
Thanks,
Jerry

Hi Gerry!
Welcome to the forums!
I agree with what Jerry has said. Normally, it may take 30-45 days to complete the refinance deal if you meet all the required criteria of the lender.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Did you ask your lender once about the status of your refinance loan? Do this once and then let us know.
