I am refinancing my home in Covington, WA. Do I have any responsibility for
transfer taxes. The GFE I received from my loan company shows a cash payment at closing of 2043 dollars on a 114,800 loan. Thank you.

welcome nancy,

while you refinance the mortgage, you will be liable for paying the closing costs. these costs may vary from one state to another. however, you'll not be responsible for paying the transfer taxes.
