Hi Guest!
Welcome to forums!
When you apply for a refinance, the loan will once again go through underwriting again. The lender will check everything before approving you for a refinance.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Hi Guest,
An underwriting approval shouldn't take 7 months time. You can ask the lender to have a word with the underwriter and try to finish this off ASAP.
Thanks

This is a very long time taken in mortgage deals. Usually all of the processing is finished within this duration, as only inspection, verification and processing of details generally takes some extra time which in your case hastarted yet. You should look into the matter with more concern.
I cannot imagine why it would take 7 months to underwrite a file. You are extremely patient. We lend nationwide and run about 3-6 weeks on closing a loan depending on the situation.
