is it possible to get a reverse mortgage on a 1976 mobile home on 6.8 acres with outbuildings? The home also has additions to it.
Hi Bowman!
Welcome to forums!
Mobile homes hardly qualify for reverse mortgages. Nevertheless, you can speak to the local reverse mortgage lenders and check out if they will help you get a loan.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Hello S.L. Bowman,
It is important to consider the long term benefits of this type of plan and to determine if it is the right option for your needs.

Yes, and it's not that difficult, as long as the date of the manufactured home is on or after June 15. And the acreage isn't tough either, as long as it's typical for your area. Where you're going to encounter difficulty, is the outbuildings and additions. What are the outbuildings? What are they used for? Are the additions permitted?
