My wife and I divorced after taking out a reverse mortgage and living in it for 1.5 years she moved out and I stayed in the house for 2 years then I got married and moved out of area and rented it to a caretaker for half the rental cost in the area for 11 months. Then my ex-wife moved back in the house immediately and has been there a year. Was that OK?
Hi thompson!
Welcome to forums!
If your ex-wife's name is mentioned on the property deed as one of the owners of the property, then she can move back into the property any time. There is nothing wrong in it.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

You're never suppose to rent your house when you have a Reverse Mortgage - the program is for primary residences only. You can rent rooms, but not the whole house.
