My mother has a reverse mortgage on her property in which she has been living for the last 38 years. Now she may have to go in for assisted living. In such a situation, can I handle her reverse mortgage?
Hi Guest,
If yore not a senior citizen, i.e. 62 years of age, then I don't think the lender will speak to you regarding your mother's reverse mortgage. However, you may still try speaking to them regarding the loan. There is no harm in trying!
Thanks,
Jerry

Well, give it a shot. But if we get down to the basics, then high chances you wouldn't be allowed to handle your mother's reverse mortgage if you're not 62 or above.
