How will I be able to get a home equity loan with a credit score of 510? I initially purchased the home for cash.
Hi Guest,
With a credit score of 510, it will be quite difficult for you to qualify for a home equity loan. You will have to improve your scores and then look out for a loan.
Thanks,
Jerry

Since your credit score is 510, you will not be able to take out a home equity loan. Try to boost your credit score before you may approach the lender for a loan.
FHA will lend with a 500 but most banks will have higher and stricter guidelines - get the credit fixed and the doors will open
