can the second mortgage of a home that was foreclosed file a suit for judgement against me. what can i do to get rid of this judgement?
Welcome Guest,
The second mortgage lender has the rights to come after you for the dues. He can file a lawsuit and get a judgment against you in order to recover his dues. You will have to contact the lender and negotiate with him in order to get rid of the judgment. You can request the lender to forgive the dues or to lower the dues so that you can pay it off and get rid of it.
