Hi,
I am a resident of NC. I am legally separated and filing for divorce from my spouse. I would like to transfer the deed of our timeshare in SC to him. Can I do this on my own or do I need to involve a lawyer?

Hi Guest,
You can use a quitclaim deed in order to transfer the property to someone else. However, in order to draft the quitclaim deed, you will have to contact a real estate attorney.
Thanks

Welcome Guest,
I agree with James Hogg. As it is a legal matter, it is always better to take help of a real estate attorney in this regard.
Thanks
