We bought our house in 2002 and refinanced with cash out in 2003. We would like to refi now to lower interest rate and extend length of loan. Were told we couldn't refi because it was now a "home equity type loan" and needed someone who financed 50a6 loans in Texas. What does this mean and what type of interest rates do you get with these loans - just want to refi balance which is about $147,000, value of house is apprx. $360,000.
