Which deed form to use.

I just want to be sure of this. Which deed form (quitclaim, special warranty or general warranty) is used to add an individual to a deed? I am an adult and my mother wants to add my name to her deed. We do not want to remove her name, just add mine. She is the sole owner of the home, there is no mortage on the home. We live in Texas.

Thank you!
Hi LZ,

Your mother can use a general warranty deed in order to add your name to the property deed. Your mother's name will be mentioned as the grantor of the property and your name as well as your mother's name will be mentioned as the grantee.

Thanks
