Can I be sued in Texas by a 3rd party for an auto repossession back in 2003. Doesn't Texas statute of limitations keep them from being able to sue after 4 years? They have not threatened, but have started calling recently.
Hi jody,
Yes, I agree with you that in Texas, they cannot sue you after 4 years. I would suggest you to contact an attorney and take his opinion on this issue. He will be able to tell you what steps you need to take in this case.
Thanks

I ceased contact with them because they doubled their settlement offer after pulling my credit and seeing that I a have a score in the 700's 6 years later. I know they probably have the right to pull my credit , but how long do they have this right?
As far as I know, they would not be able to pull your credit any further as 6 years have already passed.
I want to donate my car to a charity. I do want to recieve a tax deduction, but I don't want it to go to just any charity I would very much like my car to go to a needy family. I am in the Houton area. Can anybody help me or have any sugestions.
