When is the effective date of a deed in TX....when it was signed and notarized OR when it is filed with the County Clerk. In other words, what is the date for calculating the transfer.
Hi tyork,
The property transfer will be valid when the deed has been recorded at the County Clerk's office. Thus, it is advised that you should record the deed immediately after it is signed and notarized.
Thanks
