Eviction

Posted on: 07th Oct, 2010 03:39 am
I'm in Texas. I just read in another forum that once the home sells, you have 3 days to vacate!! I really hope it's not three days! The lawyer's office that held my foreclosure said that we would receive an eviction notice in a week, and that we would have 30 days to vacate. I'm hoping to work something out with the lender though. Does anyone know if that's something that's very common? 30 days sound right?

Thanks.
Hi aspire4grace,

The eviction notice period may vary from lender to lender. If your lender mentions in the notice that you've 30 days to vacate, then you will have to vacate the property within that time period.

Thanks
