I have been told by the lender they are going to take the mobile home; My husband lost his job and there has been no money coming into the house for over 8 weeks. He is working again, will get a check in two weeks, and I expect tax returns soon. I called and they said they would work with me last month; now they want the house. I have received nothing in writing, but know I can pay the past due within two weeks. They don't care as it's behind Aug/Sept now, but won't fall three behind. Do they need to provide written notice? Or some type of right to cure the default?? (I live in Texas.)
Hi jazz!
Welcome to the forums!
Yes, they need to provide you with some kind of written notice in this regard. You will have to somehow convince them to wait for 2 weeks so that you have the money to pay off the dues.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Of course they need to! Don't budge without a written notice in hand. In the meanwhile start arranging for money and if you can manage to convince them to wait a tad longer, then all the better.
