IF A LIEN IS ON SOME PROPERTY THAT I WISH TO PURCHASE, WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS?...I'M INTERESTED IN 12 ACRES OF LAND VALUED AT 36,000 BUT THERE IS A LIEN ON THE PROPERTY THAT IS LOCATED IN UPSHUR COUNTY (GILMER, TX)
Hi CHRISTELLEKING!

Welcome to forums!

You can ask the original owner of the property to pay off the lien so that the title is free and clear and then purchase the property. Alternatively, you can purchase the property along with the lien on it. You can then pay off the lien to the original creditor.

Feel free to ask if you have further queries.
