in texas, is it possible to get a home equity loan even if you have had 2 late payments in the past 12 months on your mortgage? does this have something to do with the a6 law?
To obtain a home equity loan, borrowers pledge their house as collateral. Credit condition is not much taken into consideration while granting a home equity loan to the borrowers. You can surely approach for a mortgage loan.
Hi alg,
Unless you have equity in your property, you won't be able to qualify for a home equity loan irrespective of whichever state you live in. Late payments will be considered as a negative item when you apply for a home equity loan.
Thanks
