Can I refinance a second home that we plan on moving back in

hi,
can i refinance a second home that we plan on moving back into after retirement while rented? i am in the military and when i retire i plan on moving back to my house in texas which i am currently renting out. can i refinance it as a second home or does it have to be a rental home?
It should be your principal residence to be able to do a cash out refinance in Texas. Are you looking for Cash-out refinnace?

If you are renting it out it is an investment home. When you move back in that will change.
