i know tx is a community property state but can u still be abligated after having husband sign a warranty deed. He owes taxes and does not pay. Loan is in my name not fair to take on his issues. Is it worth it to get him to sign. :(
Hi houston,

If the loan is in your name, you can het your husband to sign a quitclaim deed and get the property in your name. Otherwise, if you are on the loan and your husband on the title and he doesn't make loan payments, your credit will be hurt.
