Gap in Deeds

Posted on: 23rd Dec, 2009 07:10 pm
I purchased some land in Virginia near my residence. The 25 plus acers, when surveyed, shows a "Gap in Deeds" where it joins two other land owners. I'm told they do not own the "gap" either, and I can claim it with a Quit Claim. Is that information correct???
Hi geteets,

In my opinion, you should contact a real estate attorney and take his opinion in this regard. He will be the right person to guide you whether or not you will be able to file a quit claim deed and claim the property.
