I am looking to use a rual housing loan from USDA in Virginia. I have a middle score of 630 and no lates or negatives since 2008. I have 9 medical collections which are very small ($36-300) that are from 2006 and 2007. Will it be required that I pay these medical collections in order to get the loan?
Thank you very much for your time and knowledge.

Hi arringtonus!

Welcome to forums!

It will be better if you could pay off the medical bills which are in collections and then apply for the rural housing loan. This will make it easier for you to get a loan.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
