I have a vacation property that I own free and clear. I would like to add my brother and sister to the deed. this would be a gift to them. I wish to retain 50% ownership while giving each one of them 1/6 share of the property. Value of the property at this time is 35K. What would be the best way to go about this?
to clarify I have one brother and two sisters.
Prepare, sign, notarize and file in the county where the property is located a grant deed granting each a 1/6 share in the property.
