I'm a widow, will names me mary faneros as only heir
Hi sgfaneros,

Welcome to the forum.

I think it is always better if you can take help from an attorney when you are dealing with such kind of legal problems.

Best of luck,
Larry

Hello sgfaneros,

To probate you do not necessarily require an attorney to represent you. The Probate court forms are simple and user friendly. But as Larry has mentioned above you can always take help from an attorney if you feel you need one.

This question is off-topic.

The executor of the will will distribute the assets; probate is not required in every case. To probate a will, you should hire an attorney, but it is not required. You should consult with a probate attorney.
