Hello… I have a credit card with the current status of "Charged off account". It is now approaching the SOL. If I dispute portions of the listing being accurate, such as credit limit or High Balance, can the SOL reset?
Hi Kia,
As far as I know, most states require a payment to be made in order for the SOL to restart. Disputing a debt doesn't mean that you are initiating payments. So, I don't think the SOL will reset.
Thanks,
Jerry

Hi Kia,
The SOL can't be reset unless you start making the payments. Disputing an account doesn't mean that you will be making the payments. So, I don't think the SOL will reset.
