my friend passed away with no will in place, his home mortgage was named estate of ....... The city has named his older daughter his legal estate representative. Can she quitclaim the deed on her name?

No she will have to go through the probate courts to get it transferred - It isnt as easy as a simple quit claim Good Luck Brian
