I am buying a home in Washington state(va loan),My lender is not sounding positive about closing before the 45 day contract expiration date. what are my legal options if the deal goes bad the day after?

You have no legal recdourse against the bank unless you have the money to hire an attorney that can take on a banks atty and prov e that they did something wrong - contract dates get missed - it stinks but it happens - and it isnt aleways the lenders fault - think about how many times they had to wait for things along the way - those are allo days they cant do their job - now if they have had everything for a dew weeks and it still isnt close thats a bad bank but even then you cant really do anything except communicate with the seller and get an extension
