Can you suggest please the best way to add wife's name to deed/title of a house we bought 11 years ago together but did not put her name on the title /deed because of credit problems ,without putting her on loan nor refinancing but giving as equal rights and protection.

Hi mavis, If your property is free and clear, then you can use a warranty deed in order to add your wife's name to the property deed. If there is a mortgage on your property, then you can use a quitclaim deed in order to add your wife to it. Thanks
