Hi Nicss you answered a question i had on feb 19th about my land lord selli

Hi Nicss you answered a question i had on feb 19th about my land lord selling the house we rent. i was just wondering if you can give me some more advice on the subject. from what i was told by the land lord father the bank was under the impression the house was empty, and now that it is going through the short sale, if the bank knows we are living here they will not go through with it. so now he is trying to harass us to get us out. but we have still not recieved a any type of written notice, i have contacted the bank and i am waiting to here from them, what are my rights and what can the owner do and the bank.any info will help thanks

Hi Guest, If you have signed a rental agreement with the landlord, then he won't be able to remove you from the property. If you know the details of the lender, then you should contact the lender and inform them about it and if you wish, you can make the payments to the lender rather than to the landlord. Thanks
