I have a friend just evicted from the home she inherited from her mom

The mom took a reverse mortgage and at death the children did nothing to repay it. They were evicted this week. The difference in the house value is 100,000 above loan amt. does the heir get the remainder and also does the foreclosure go on the heirs credit

They will get what is left AFTER the cost of the foreclosure - get a few attorneys involved and there wont be much left - they should have dealt with the bank and tried to sale the home or take out a loan to repay it - not much they can do now - hopefully there is something left Brian Barnes Nationwide Mortgage - glad to help Brian@AimWithFocus.com
