The sherriff will take legal steps in order to vacate the property and hand it over to the new buyer. However, if the present owner cannot vacate the property immediately, then he/she can request the sheriff to give him some more time to vacate the property.

If the present owners does not vacate the property within 24 hours, then the Sheriff will take legal actions in order to vacate the property.
