I dont see how a Lady bird deed will disqualify a person from receiving medicaid seeings how the house is exempt. under the law the person is allowed 2000.00 in the bank,1 car and one home to be exempt. why would they be disqualified for certain period of time???

In order to get the medicaid benefits, you must reveal how much money and property you own. Still, you should work it out with the help of an estate attorney to successfully qualify for the benefits.
