divorce decree

UW won't allow me to close without a divorce decree. Is this standard? I'm not yet divorced but my ex let our home go into foreclosure and the kids and I have to move ASAP. This is the only thing holding up the closing.

Yes - without a court order stating your ex is responsible for the previous home you may be on the hook for it and that foreclosure would make you ineligible   Good Luck Brian Barnes Brian@AimWithFocus.com Mortgage Lender all 50 states
