should i pay my final mortgage payment on a refinance if im closing on the 25?

I'm refinancing my home. My payment is due on the 15. I'm supposed to close on the 25. The pay off letter has already been requested. Should I make my last payment? Its almost all interest anyway, right?

Is it due on the 1st and late after the 15th? I would pay it - the bank will anticipate you have paid it - If it takes longer you are going to risk a 30 day late at which point your refi will be denied - If you dont pay it they will just take it out of the loan or add it to the costs - one way or another you are paying it - if you dont you are taking a risk I have seen it happen - Brian Barnes Nationwide Lender Brian@Aimwithfocus.com
