choice loan consultinng
Choice definitely is a SCAM. has been 9 months for me as well and all I ever received from Choice was one LIE after another (back when they answered their phone--3 months ago!!!)
I can personally attest to two complaints being filed with two Attorney Generals offices against Choice Loan Consulting aka. Choice National.
You are better off going thru your bank they are more help than Choice ever was to me

Just an update to demonstate how utterly USELESS choice is at what they do. I called the Hope Now Hotline (888-995-hope) which is a NONPROFIT organization, and with their help in an hour accomplished what Choice has not in seven and a half months. Too bad it cost me 3,500 bucks to learn this lesson.
If you want to throw your money away, give it to the homeless- chances are some of them are that way because of CHOICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that Choice Loan Consulting started out with good intentions, they got caught in the perfect storm. They can't keep up with all the files they received and the banks are taking too long to make decisions. They took on files that they should not have. They started to run out of money and couldn't pay employees, so employees quit. Files didn't get worked on. Clients got frustrated. A LOT of clients wanted money back and there's no money to be returned. Employees are not getting paid either but some are working just because they feel bad for the clients !! If you have a file at Choice Loan - I don't have good news for you. I would NOT turn in a loan modification or debt settlement file to Choice Loan NOR would I work for them. A lot of employees have still not been paid - I am one of them.

I paid choice loans 3,000 in May and was promised our loan would be modified in 4 months. It has been impossible to get through to choice. I call 10 times a day and leave messages. I was such a fool to pay this much money upfront to a company that I knew nothing about. I trusted my friends dad who got me into this whole thing. He informed me in September that he was no longer working for Choice and left me high and dry. Anyone tried getting their credit card company to refund their money? I did this a time before when I was scammed by a new gym and got all my money back.

We signed up to have Choice do work for our loan, but after I was asked to fake some documents, I wanted out. Typical story, no phone calls or email response. We asked for a refund at the end of Sept when they offered a 100% refund if they couldn't get us 10% off our loan pmt. It has been nothing but an up-hill battle for us to get our money back. I can tell you personally that the only way they will do anything is if you show up in person like we did. 11 weeks later and still waiting for our full refund. If you do get a hold of them, GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. The last 7 days, they have had their office closed with a different excuse on the door every few days. I'm doing what I can to track the owner down directly. We got just about everything in writing including days they were going to call us or email us with decisions, but surprisingly, they have not followed through. Someone needs to contact "3 On Your Side" about them. But plan on a long process to try to get your money back.

Hi, I actually worked as an employee for CLC for 6 months and then got laid off because they could not pay me anymore. By working there myself I was able to see everything upclose and personal and let me tell you, it was insane. What happened is they had this great idea got all the licensing so technically they were legal and they weren't out to scam people but they grew way to fast and even though they said they could, they couldn't handle the work volume that came in so files literally sat on the shelf for months. It was awful. So I am here to tell you that Choice is not a scam company they just pretty much didn't have a big enough structure to handle all of the Customer Service concerns, questions and problems fast enough. But then the thing that really messed them up more than anything and slowed them down was Obama and all the new plans that they put out.
Posted on: 17th Dec, 2009 11:45 am
so you want to blame our President and his efforts to make things work? with 6 months on the job, you were able to discern that choice was a group of wonderful people trying to help others (forget the profit) and their whole world came crashing down because Barack Obama had a plan to help people in this time of difficulty?

that's a crock, i'm afraid. i suspect the refunds they were required to make to unsatisfied people were the culprit as far as your getting paid, too. there are way too many apologists for these companies.

let me finish with my caveat: i have no idea of the inner workings of this company. i have never done business with them (wouldn't anyway), and i've never heard of them outside of the MortgageFit community. all of my statements are truly conjecture, and not necessarily based on fact. i've read several commentaries here that make it quite plain that this company let down a raft of people, and that arouses my ire, quite frankly.

A good "friend" suggested that I use Choice. It alkl sounded good at first. I was pre qualified and when it came time for my mod....nothing. Then I asked for my cash back as promised......HA!!! They want you to fill out paperwork and ask them for your cash back. Here it is 3 months later....still nothing. Big Suprise. Noy I try to call the local Gilbert AZ office...guess what....NO ANSWER. I wish I knew where these a$$ holes lived...........

As s former employee of Choice, we were all hoodwinked as well. You can't modify loans if the employees are not paid that do the modifications. A previous post referred to Choice as a perfect storm. Do you remember what happened to the Captain.

My parents are at their physical office in Phoenix which has a sign on the door saying "Attention! Choice National Loan Consulting is no longer in business. Thank you. "
Thank You???!! We and several of our close friends and family gave our $3500 to this company in the beginning of 2009 after checking the company out w/ the BBB and personal aquaintances that had been assisted by them.
Here it is the end of the year and we have no results, are not able to get ahold of anyone and angry to be tricked out of desperately needed money in tough financial times - could have made 3 mortgage payments for goodness sake!
And in response to the previous poster who said it was people getting in over their heads to make another stupid decision and getting what they deserved?! F*&K You! !!
Poeple like my parents have been laid off, and screwed over when it comes to their income! My dad has worked for a mill that has been in operation for over 30 years - supposedly stable yet is cutting back like everyone else and treating employees that have worked over 15 years for them lilke S**t!
We will be doing all we can to get our money back and filing appropriate complaints. As suggested by previous posters, , , here are the links if anyone else wants to join the bandwagon!

Thanks Liz & Joe for the links. I just got back from their office in Gilbert and saw the same sign. This is unbelievable. Now I get to go home and break the news to my wife--and just before Christmas! Never thought it would happen to me. Sounds like most of us have had the same experience.
Does anybody know if it's even possible to get our money back? I highly doubt it myself, but that won't stop me from filing complaints and joining class action suits.

Hard lesson learned.

liz & joe, we certainly understand your annoyance and frustration. that doesn't, however, mean you ought to resort to using the language you used - yes i know you veiled them with "*&" and "**" but that doesn't mean we couldn't recognize them.

no, this is not a site for children, but it is a site that tries, most earnestly, to provide assistance, guidance, information and a forum that is valuable to everyone who visits.

i'm not a prude, so please don't think i can't understand how vehemently you would prefer to express your anger; i just don't think it's appropriate, no matter how you disguise the words, to use that form of expression on MortgageFit.

If you haven't already joined our Choice Loan Fraud group, email "slatif@cox.net" to join. We are fighting back and hoping with enough of us we will prevail!

Liz & Joe - no worries. The community mentor obviously has not lost $3,500 to this horrible company like you and I have. You have every right to be furious. Give 'em hell.
