Hi friends,

In recent times, predatory lending has affected the mortgage industry by bringing in illegal lending practices. The inclusion of this forum is an attempt to create awareness among borrowers and common people about such practices.

Through this forum, you can share your experiences, good or bad, with mortgage companies. Your experiences will allow others to have a true picture so that they will learn to deal with lenders and companies in a better way.

You can also post your suggestions as to how one should deal with these companies to get the best services available.

Thanks

Sam

We will try from all possible ways to to make this forum a knowledge base for the industry.

Hi all,

This attempt will certainly help all of us to identify the malpractices in the industry.

I think this can be a great way to help each other by sharing our experiences and also we can suggest strategies to come out of a particular problem one is facing from our past practical experience.

Regards,
Blue

I have to say, this is about the best financial information forum targeted at every day people I've found.

Some really great contributors here. the more good infot that circulates out into the internet the more people will hopefully make better informed decisions.

the fact is that there are a lot ofshady operstors out there and the only real way to know the good ones from the bad is to get feedback from previous customers. Froums like this provide an excellent sounding board.

Perhaps the mods could create a Review forum or thread? one thread stickied for each major lender where people could share their experiences, both +ve and -ve and perhaps rate the lender 1-5 in a poll or something similar?
