Hi Drugger,

Are you facing any problem with them? Please let me know.

Ya they're taking out money through ACH withdrawals even after i've paid it all. I am thinking of filing a complaint against them. does that stop such withdrawal?

Hello Drugger,

If you file a complaint with the state AG, it will help you stop them from taking out money from your account. But that will happen only if the AG finds them guilty. It will take some time i guess.

Hi Drugger,

Welcome back to forum.

Yes, you can file a complaint about their illegal activities of garnishing your account to an attorney general. He will surely investigate into the matter and help you to prevent such garnishment.

I had received a loan and the week before the due date I had told them to take the full amount out. They called me on the due date and said they didnt receive it in time

Why they are saying that they did not receive the amount in time?

If you had given them the permission to take out money then there should not be any problem with it. Did they provide any explanation/reason because of which they have not received the amount in time?

Hi La Donna,

Have you asked why they have not received the money on time despite of your permission? And now, what are they asking you to do? Please let us know.

Hi Guest,

When you have lost your job just after receiving the loan, you may face problem in continuing the payments. So it is better if you cancel the loan.

There are some states like Washington where you can change your mind and cancel the payday loan within one day. So if you fall in that state, you can easily cancel the loan.

whatever you decide to do, continue to do your research until you have decided to make a commitment. Knowledge is power, goodluck.

I was filling out an ap. for a personal loan and then something came up for this payday loan, when i found out what was going on i stop all info. and signed nothing, well in a few days a saw a 400.00 deposit in my account, no info. on were it came from, no e-mail stating funds deposited, no website info, no pay back info, " nothing" i did'nt no were the money came from. My back had to look into it for me. And the pay back for this was a mess to deal with.

So, did you utilize the payday loan funds? and where did you apply for the personal loan? did you at all send an application to Loanpointusa?

My friend was using them and as far as i know it all went really well!
Sorry to hear that you were treated badly, i hope it will end up well for you.
Yeah do some research, call them and ask what is going on! Explain them your situation and if they are mistreating you- then file them and claim your money back.
