My husband and I used this company to buy our home in October 2005....they went above and beyond themselves to make the deal work so that we could afford the home of our dreams. I would never hesitate to recommend them to anyone at anytime.

It is impossible to get a call back from this company. I have been calling and leaving messages for the past 2 months. I am mid loan modification and they won't return any of my calls.

No dont use them, They lie, they loose paper work over and over, hound you to death on the phone ,hire absolute morons at their call centers, rude borderline abusive ,set you up for failure due to their incompetence. And Im not behind never was or will be. I wonder how they treat people who are having trouble. I found out they are a division of Bank of America

just to let you know nation point was first called first franklin mortgage company.we did a refinance with them the man's name was mark anthony he told me that we were going into a 30 year fix rate mortgage which was also confirmed to us by there closing attorney. our mortgage was then sold to america's servicing co. (asc) and after two years with them we received a letter from them stating that our adjusting rate mortgage was going up. this was news to us, since we were told that were had been put into a fixed rate mortgage. do not trust them

We did not have a good experience either, and this is our sixth home so we have a lot of other experiences with which to compare. The rep kept saying 'sure, no problem' then would come back saying they couldn't do something. On closing day, the mortgage papers included a rate.5% higher than the agreed to document. Luckily, a call to the manager straightened it out while we waited another 45 minutes at the Title Insurance Agent's office. Not fun.

I have been trying for over a year to get my loan modified. My husband got layed off and we hit hard times. Every time they ask to have something faxed, it's sent without delay. Yet here I am no closer to having my loan modified and wondering day to day if I will have a house to live in. It just seems that this should not be taking as long as it is. 16 months is a long time to see if I get to keep my house or not. Plus all the legal fees that I'm sure are racking up. Is it to much to ask to start making payments on my home?????????

Hi hlmc,

You should keep in touch with the lender and ask him to take a decision regarding your loan modification asap. Keeping in contact with your lender will let you remain updated about the fact whether or not your modification will be accepted.

Thanks
