i look at all these complaints against sjm aka platinum b services and i notice that they are a few months old.. i just took out a loan from them for 200.00 for which they said ina week and half i'll owe total 260.00, they havent that i know about touched my bank account yet.. my question is, are there any other complaints that are more recent and has any action been takin yet against them? also wat do i need to do to prevent them from tryin to rip me off b4 they try to collect payment? i already have the payment for them rite now.. but dnt want they taking from me as they did every1 else... wat steps do i take to ensure they only get wats owed and not any more?[/u][/i]
Hi got a crazy call from someone claiming to be from this company SJM stating that I owed them 920 dollars. I have never signed any paper work or recieved any informatiom. They told me that I will be arrested at my job at 12noon. I told them to come and to bring the necessary paper work proving that I took out this loan. Also, I told them to that I found out they were scaming people, the number they called from was an out of the country number. I think these people are getting information off the internet and using it to get money. Because if you were really goint to be arrested by a police officer they are not going to call you to tell you they are going to arrest you, they will just come. However, I did hang up on them is that a problem or did I do the right thing. This is the number 2315774889
Hi Nikki,
You did the right thing by asking them to contact you with the right documents. You haven't done anything wrong by hanging up the phone. If they are really scamming people, they won't call you back. Meanwhile, you can contact your attorney and discuss the case with him.

I have sent emails and left messages on a voicemail. No one answers the phone, you just get "please hold for the next available rep" says that 3 times then tells you to leave a message. What do I do? Stop payment?
If you stop your payments, then the lender can foreclose your property. Rather, I would suggest you to be patient enough and try contacting the lender.
