I've defaulted on my payday loan and now United Cash tells me that they're sending police to get me arrested. Is that what they will really do or just threatening me? I'm already working with a credit counseling agency and trying to pay them. It's a month ago that I sent them the first late payment check even. But here I'm really troubled, can they call the police??
They cannot arrest you that easy. If they want to get you arrested they will have to take certain measures like filing a case against you.
They can't really put you in jail just because of not being able to pay your loans however it is sure that they will find ways to get even with you by taking legal action for their rights on your loan.
You can't just be arrested like that my dear. How about getting on a debt agreement?
I took out an internet loan with United Cash unfortunately got in over my head in debt and had to close bank account, now I received a call from the county circuit clerks office and they told me to call another number and it was United Cash legal, I was told that what I did was fraud and could spend 2 years in jail for it if I didn't pay them which is now double the amount of borrowed, he also said an officer would be out to arrest me within 24 hours. The first call came from the realy county circuit court clerk, can I really be charged with fraud?
Hi Guest!
Welcome to forums!
As far as I know, you cannot be arrested for non-payment of debts. However, if the creditor or the collection agency wishes, they can take legal actions against you.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

This the BBB and Government Agencies have filed a complaint against them. Do not borrow from these people. READ REVIEW ON the BBB.
