i need a quitclaim deed form for the state of georgia. where can i get a free copy?
Below are a few links. You can copy and paste into MS Word and edit them there. A while back, I had purchased a software package from an office supply store that had over 4000 legal documents. It is called The Complete Law Office. It has helped me quite a bit in my business including sales contracts and lease agreements. And yes it does also have quit claim deeds. I think I only paid about $30 for it.

Hi Linneida,

You can also buy a pre-made form at any office supply store for under $10 and just fill in the blanks, get it notarized and take it down to your local court house to get it recorded.

To whom do you want to quitclaim? Are both the owners willing to quitclaim?

Yes, both owners are willing to quitclaim.

Hi reggie,

welcome back to forums.

The best thing is to get the quitclaim deed drafted by an attorney with accordance to what is approved by your state. Anyway, you'll get statewise sample quitclaim forms here.

Thanks

Where do I get a free Quitclaim Deed to transfer the ownership of my home from myself into my trust? I live in Lane County, Oregon.

Hi Michele Dzugan,

I think free quitclaim deed forms for Oregon are not available. However, you can download a quitclaim deed form from the link given below but you will have to pay for it:

Thanks.

Would like to obtain the above form by downloading it on my computer. What would it cost?

Hi Monica

When you open the above mentioned website you will find the cost of downloading written beside the quitclaim deed form. You can also use the below mentioned link to get California quitclaim deed forms:

Thanks.

a non-spouse would like to put my name on title of a home. can we do a quit claim deed ourselves without a lawyer in Florida?
Posted on: 03rd Feb, 2009 10:00 am
Hi jeanme,

Though it's always advised to consult an attorney to avoid any dispute in future, quitclaiming can be done without an attorney's help as well. A quitclaim deed needs to be signed by the grantor and in some states by the grantee and some other witnesses. After which the quit claim deed is to be notarized and recorded in county recorder's office to validate it. To view a sample quit claim deed for Florida, visit the following page:
