I was wondering if there is a loan Mod that can be done on Commercial (warehouse) properties? if not, then i guess a re-fi might be the answer. Problem with that is, my credit score is 525 because of all the payment that i am behind.

can someone help me out here??????

Hi,

As far as I know there are some lenders with whom you have to negotiate loan modification and this can be done by few steps which we have to keep in mind and should discuss with them, as first thing whic have to keep in mind is to know your finances before contacting your lender also know that how much income you are getting in a month and about your cost cutting and talking to your lender and have an idea of what you need and if you have an adjustable rate mortgage and if there is some bit thing in higher monthly payments than, you can request for loan modification to your lender.

Thanks!

I used choice to get my modification and they were able to get 120,000 off what i owe on my house and save me more then 50% of my payment. I also know that they have helped more then a 1000 homeowners get there modifications done.

So i guess there is always two sides to every story.

Just fyi Jeff Harper is not a partner of that company.

You might want to get your stories strait before you blog untruths because it makes your story alot less believable.

A very satisfied client

I was sent a letter in October saying that they are looking into my refund which could take up to 6 to 8 weeks. Well I waited and started calling and believe it or not the phone is no longer in service yet they still have a web site. All I want is my MONEY!!!

I just wanted to jump into this forum. I am a former employee of choice loan consulting. I started working for them 5 weeks ago and never received a paycheck. They are currently not paying there employees, yes no bullshit I am not kidding. So not only are they not taking care of business they are not taking care of their employees. The unfortunate truth is lots of really great people work for them who really care and worked on promises to pay because they value what they are doing. I was one of them, I loved the people that work there, but the ownership is a ponzi scheme. My gut feeling is that Jeff Harper is using funds from choice to pay off restitution on his previous indictment, that is were the payroll has gone. So not only are they screwing the clients, but literally so many of there employees are in serious financial straits waiting to get paid. Jeff Harper and his brother or half brother Jordan are con men. A slap on the back, a genuine look. Yes some people are being helped, that is more to the dedication of the employees than to the ownership. Well guess what most of the negotiation team is gone, the lost phone service for 4 day, no internet and everything is an internet based system. They are not able to work on your loan unless people are using personal cell phones. This is no joke folks.

Seems I'm in the same boat as everyone else. The big picture......lenders won't deal until the last second, therefore enjoying the adding up of hi payments, late fees.......still, no excuse for zero communications from Choice for 9 months. The entire system is designed for business to take advantage of the working class. Finally, I recieved a letter from Choice after my lawyer sent a letter. They will not return my funds because in my contract there is no time limit. Not their fault I'm impatient. Zero contact for 9 months and I'm impatient.?? Confusing impatients with frustration.

We should all get organized, put some $ in a pot, hire a lawyer and put these sob's out of business once and for all.

Choice Loan is located on Gilbert Rd in Gilbert. There doors were locked up tight yesterday and today (12/11/09). I lost my house because of them! Their web site is down as well. Something fishy going on with these guys.

they are going to file BK and then re-open under a new name. just so they don't have to pay anyone back. Jeff Harper was the the founder of Choice but because of his criminal record his brother Jordan Ruzicka has his name on the company, but don't let that fool you....Jeff is still in charge!!

I too have lost 3,000 to choice. Have tried to get through to them since September. Signed up back in May of 09'. Anyone had any luck getting their credit card company to refund their money?

It seems that lot of people have complaints about Choice Loan. If you do not get your money, file a complaint against them with the BBB and the state attorney general.

I'm in the same boat with everyone else. After meeting face to face with Jeff Harper in October he informed me that a home loan modification really wouldn't help me so I asked for a refund. They said it would be 6-8 weeks before they could reimburse me. Then they stopped answering e-mails and phone calls. I found out that they closed up shop mid December and I'm out $3500 like everyone else. They came highly recommended from The Lending Company. My initial gut told me that this was too good to be true, but I went with it because people sold me on their "reputation". I think we need to band together and file a class action lawsuit. Jeff Harper was supposed to have disengaged from Choice after he was sentenced for the money laundering fraud scheme (Knuckleball Capital Management). He was sentenced to pay retribution and it's obvious now that he used the funds from Choice to "pay off" his ponzi scheme debts. We have to band together on this one folks. We can't let him or his business partners do this again.

We are recently going thru similar "junk" with Colleen Laneer at Right Choice Modifications. (She was mentioned in an earlier post.) I am curious if anyone else out there is dealing with her and having problems.......she was affiliated with Choice One. She is definitely giving us a run around after having our money for almost a year now with no modifications! For any one looking, DON'T USE HER EITHER!

Yup, it looks like I am another victim. We started this modification in April of 2009 with a promise of about four months. I have got nothing but run arounds from Colleen, Holly and Annette. I have requested a refund beginning of January and have not seen anything. I have called several times and emailed. I am getting fedup with this company and would also like to be involved in the lawsuit. Have already filed a complaint with the BBB, but was looking at doing a lawsuit.
