Loan Modifacation

I too paid $3500 to Choice for a loan modification and I got nothing but the run around for about 9 months. I even met with Jeff Harper and Mary Robson and was reasured that everything was running smoothly. When I finally called the last time, I was called back by Rob Robson from Freedom Team Financial. I was told that Choice has filed for bankruptcy. I was told that I would be named as a respondant in this bankruptcy and that I should get at least a portion of my money back, but so far I have not heard anythinng from anyone. I have made a complaint with the AG office and have not heard anything from them either. I am very upset!

Colleen Laneer, Annette Gold, and Holly Savage with Right Choice Modifications are doing nothing less than behaving like criminals. While my husband was deployed to Iraq as active duty soldier, we attempted to get our home loan modified so we could afford to keep our home. Empty promises and nearly 1 year later, we have nothing but lame emails and excuses. Our money was not returned when we asked for it. We were then told it was tied up in Choice Loans and they filed bankruptcy, so we will never see our "guarnteed refund". You can find public info on Colleen Laneer in the county assessors website if you would like to visit her at home and let her know what a horrible situation she has created by taking advantage of people that put trust in her. While my husband fought for freedom in this country and fought to protect HER rights, she took our money and ran into a hole like a cockroach. Unfortunately, the cockroaches of the world live through just about anything. And the rest of us are left to deal with the disease they spread. SHAME ON YOU Ms Laneer and your lies.

We are also contacting BBB and AGs office for some sort of resolution. Small claims court can't get our whole $3500 back, but they can give us a settlement that might make up for some of the headaches we have had. I suggest - HIGHLY suggest - you take it to small claims. If the employees of Right Choice (((not even a legitimate LLC by the way))) - if they are true to form; they won't bother to show up at small claims court and you will win a settlement in your favor. Food for thought.

Have any of you had success in getting money back? As last stated, she has claimed she can no longer help us either. But you know, she has to live with herself each day. It will come back to her, it's just the way it works.
