quit claim deed - my signature was forged by my husband, my forged signature is not notarized, his own signature is notarized. the deed was filed, not sure how it was recorded, since all sellers signatures have to be notarized under minnesota law. of course, it shows no purchase price, just the transfer of property, which was worth approx. $400,000.00 at the time. is there any i can do?
HI makensie,
If your signatures have been forged, then you can take legal actions against your ex-husband. You should contact an attorney and check out what actions you can take against him. Filing a case against him and winning it will help you in getting back the money.
Thanks
