My mother recently died. In her will she requested that owner ship of her home go to her four children. What do we need to do to get ownership transfered to us?

Hi Bphelps,

Welcome to the forums.

Is the Will already prepared by your mother? If so, then after she passes away, you'll have to let it go through probate before getting ownership rights.

I agree with Sara that the will need to go through probate to resolve your claim. So better consult with an Probate attorney.
