geraldine have you been trying to stay in contact with your lender? that's key, of course. keep bothering them to see what's happening with your case.

The website for Naca is Naca.com. You do not need to go to LA. Contact them via email or phone. Check the website, they have these events all over. They are good and can be trusted. They also finance home mortgages for they are there own lender. Will need lots of patience with them because they all over worked right now....non profit organization...very trustable.

i know they didn't pay you for that newlife8, but you may want to send a bill - that was a nice reference for them.

NACA is a very good and reliable organization, they will help you,but you have to be patient, persistant and consistant. You have keep in constant contact with them and your lender, send the docs that they ask for and keep track of where they are having save the home tours. It is worth the time and effort, just don't get discouraged and don't give up!

The Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA) is a non-profit, homeownership organization. You can get detailed information about NACA from the given page:

Kathryn,
the agents are overwhelm at this time but don't give up. If you call them, you will be on hold for a while but they do answer. Also, you can check the status of your file online. Input your naca# and password. Once you are in, there is an option on the naca site under AUCTION. It is suppose to expidite the process for homes in foreclosure and/or auction sale. I hope this helps, good luck.

I ent to a hud to help me with my morgage on talking to my bank .I used to pay my txes and my insurance by myself. The bank asked me all the papers so they can put everything together. I did it, but my payment came 900.00 dollars more than what I paid, I told the couseller I can't pay that money is to much for me, he said you have to. I borrow money to send them after a month or so they deny me,now I owe them 3 months the sent me a letter saying I have to pay the balance due because I'already in forclosure.I owed 3 months I do not know what to do.

Did you ask the lender as to why they have denied your loan modification? I would suggest you to contact them and re-apply for a modification. In case, the lender does not agree to it, then you can apply for a deed in lieu with your lender and get rid of the property.

I made an agreement with NACA for a loan modification back in Oct. My payments was reduced for the periods of 11-09 thru 1-10 which was to paid on time so that my interest rate would be 3%. I have done everything that was asked of me, now I get a letter from one of my credit cards saying that my bank sent a negative report to my credit. After contacting my bank "rude customer service" I am being told I was in forebearance not loan modification which I have disagree with and have documents to prove it. The bank is saying that although I made the agreed payments for three months I am still considered late because it was the full amount of the oringial agreement. This is ruining my credit.
ANY ADVICE? Getting the run around and I cant get thru to NACA.

Hi Indepenwman,

I can understand that you are facing a tough time. As NACA had helped you in getting a loan modification, you should contact them and check out the issue with them. You have mentioned that you've the documents related to modification. You can show those documents to the lender and clarify the issue.

Thanks
