SJM Marketing - How do I contact them?

SJM Marketing, a payday loan provider, is the parent company of Platinum B Services. The company officials have so far ripped off many of its customers. And they continue to do so even after repeated complaints have been filed against it.

It's often hard to locate the company as because they keep changing their contact numbers from time to time but do not provide their consumers with the correct contact details. The company continues to withdraw money from customers' bank accounts even though the latter may have paid off the loan in time. That's something very illegal and if you're one of them to have gone through this, don't hesitate to contact SJM Marketing at their phone number, 1-866-722-2770. Their fax number is 1-866-599-5161. If the debt is sold off by SJM for collection, then call up at 866-350-5696.

Today, March 31, 2009, I recieved a phone call from a supposed attorney for these people threatening me with court action if I dont pay up. I informed this individual that we had already paid enough for it to be paid off and she informed me that what I was paying was the collective amount NOT the principle. She also informed me that this payment would go on indefinately unless I told Platinum B that I wanted to pay it off. She said a court action will take place bringing into play thief by deception and a few other fancy charges. I mentioned to proceed with her action. What she is doing is it legal and get an attorney to fight her company or just copy all the reciepts where I paid and wait for the summons.

Hi Terry,

In my opinion, you should contact an attorney and discuss your options with him/her. This would a better option rather than waiting for the summons.

I just got charged after 4 years $190 for an old loan. Oasis Financial is the company that contacted me for Platinum B. Services. I don't remember them. Anyone contact by these people? 866-964-8194?

You should contact Platinum B Services and check out with them whether you owe them money or not. If you have paid off the dues, then they cannot contact you and harrass you for the dues anymore.

Hi Guest(old lady)!

Welcome to forums!

If you do not owe them anything, then you should not worry about legal cases. As far as the harassment calls are concerned, you can speak to your lawyer and take legal steps against them.

SJM continued to deduct money from my bank account until I put a stop payment on all further deductions by them in the hopes that they would contact me so that we could settle the matter. However, they never did contact me. Today, nine months after the stop payment was placed on my account, I was contacted by a collection agency and bullied by its representative. When she realized her tactics would not work on me, she threatened me with a law suit and hung up. What should I expect next?

Hi angus,

If you had taken a loan from SJM Marketing, then they have the rights to collect the dues from you. They have charged off the loan to a collection agency now who will collect it from you. If you do not pay it off to them, they can sue you for the debts. However, if you've already paid off the dues, then they cannot harass you. You can contact an attorney and take legal actions against the creditor.

Thanks
