Geneva Roth Capital Inc. which is also known as Loan Point USA ("http://www.loanpointusa.com/" ) is a payday loan company that carries out its own collections. Based at Utah, the company is reported to be a loan shark by several consumers who have shared their experience with the company in our forums.

There have been several complaints so far from customers regarding illegal activities of Geneva Roth. Here's why debtors feel that Geneva Roth is a loan shark:
  • The company often over charges its customers and withdraws money from their accounts repeatedly even after the loan payment is over.
  • The company also keeps changing its contact information due to which customers make repeated calls but fail to get any response from Geneva Roth.
  • Geneva Roth somehow gets access to bank accounts not related to the loan and debits money from such accounts.
  • Even if consumers do not apply for Geneva Roth loans, the company somehow gets access to their accounts and forcefully deposit loan funds without even sending any paper agreement to the debtor.
If you are in problem while dealing with the company or if you need to make an enquiry on your payment, loan balance etc, talk to a customer representative at the Geneva Roth toll free number.

In case you don't get any response from the company, or if they continue with their illegal activities, file a complaint with the FTC, BBB or your State attorney General. And if you'd like to share your experience with Geneva Roth - good or bad, feel free to post it below.

my account was recently debited for 490.00 and was returned back to them because i did not have the money in the account. I have tried to talk to the bank about them and they said there was nothing they could do to help me. Beware of these people they are frauds. I have no clue how they got my banking information and why they even took the money. I don't know who they are.

Hi All,

It is really amazing to see so many people are complaining against this company and they are continuously withdrawing money from other's account without having proper authorization. I do not know why no action has been taken against this company.

One thing that I can say is stay away from this company.

Well, this is ridiculous sheila, how come the bank can't do anything. I think you should close the account asap. And did you file a complaint?

Welcome Ddaulton,

Phone no of Geneva Roth Cap is 913-825-1200.

Talk to them directly. I would rather suggest you that to stay away from this company because many people do not have very good experience with them.

I just need to find out how much I actually owe - and can not get through to them at all. I am thinking about just paying a fee and having my bank "Stop Payment" on them --- won't this work? Then they will have to contact me and I will send them the money. Has anyone tried this?

Hey grannnydg,

Good thought. Try it out. Otherwise they will keep taking money out of your account.

Hope it will help out.

My bank, Bank of America, has done nothing about this company and my bank account. They won't freeze my account and they won't close it because it's a negative. I never applied for a loan thru this scamming company and it's at the point now where this bank has started debiting my other account to the sum of 4000+ because of not using the account geneva had. any ideas for a texan????????????

Welcome Donna,

Geneva Roth is nothing but a loan shark company and people do not have very good feedback for this company. Why don't you file a complaint against this company in the Attorney Generals office in you state?

Hope it will help you.

Hi bubba,

Keep shouting against them so that people get aware about the scam activities that they are involving. This will help people to stay away from them.

Best of luck,
Larry

I just yesterday saw that 400 dollars was deposited in by account by Geneva Roth because of this site I was able to get the # 1 800 351 8820< I just called and spoke to customer service who said that they would take there money out in 2-3 business days and not take anymore than just the 400 I guess I will see if I get screwed, I did not sign anything or talk to anybody. But i know one thing no more filling out stuff online anymore, I'll just go into a payday loan office it feels safter.
