it have been about 6 months now and steel anit hear nothing yet you contact me at or send me a letter

U can not call the local housing authority u must check through the website or write a letter....

hello all i've signed up for section 8 and still on the waiting list but this message are for those who want to check their section 8 app status in Los Angeles CA this is what do: go to google search type in Los Angeles housing authority section 8 just like that, a few links will pop up but the correct one to click on would be LACD-Assited Housing (AH) it will say exactly that click on that one and it will send you to their website now after you do that your gonna see a list of options like programs, about us and apply for assistance etc. click on apply for assistance then it gives you another list of options and go all the way to the bottom of that list and click review or update ur status and you will be able to check it. If you dont have the prospect number its okay you can enter your ssn and date of birth and you can make changes and see the status as well. Note* they will give you your prospect number again if you lost it good luck to all and i hope i helped some of you.
